# A touch of beauty amidst the remains of mortality
Hello everyone! I am excited to share with you the very first drawing I ever posted on social media, though it was almost a year ago now on October 9th, 2022. I am grateful for this opportunity to share my journey with you and to reflect on the progress I have made in my artwork since that time.
When I drew the image of a skeleton hand emerging from a field of flowers, holding a delicate daisy, I was struck by the contrast between the stark, lifeless bones and the vibrant, colorful flowers. It was a juxtaposition that spoke to me on a deep level, reminding me that even in the midst of death and decay, beauty can still be found.
As I worked on the drawing, I thought about the fragility of life and how quickly it can slip away. Yet, at the same time, I was struck by the resilience of nature and the way it can still thrive even in the face of death and destruction. The daisy, with its simple beauty, represented that sense of hope and renewal, a reminder that life goes on, even in the face of loss.
I drew this image as a way to express my own feelings about mortality and the cycle of life and death. It was a way for me to grapple with the difficult emotions that come with loss and to find solace in the beauty that still surrounds us, even in our darkest moments. Ultimately, I hope that this drawing can serve as a reminder to others that there is always beauty to be found, even amidst the remains of mortality.
