Hello Everyone.
To begin my day, I made this ink drawing of Green-Crowned Brilliant. They are a family of large, robust hummingbird that are found mostly in Costa Rica and Western Ecuador. They are popular for their green colours and shape of their head as seen in the drawing. They feed mostly on large flowers and nectars.
I made this drawing with a black ball point pen and pelican paper.
Here are the steps in the drawing;
First, I drew the outline of the bird and added its facial features from its long pointy beaks to its round dark eyes.
Next, I began shading and adding details of feather to its skin. I also shaded the dark areas on its body.
I kept adding details of feather until I got a satisfactory result.
Thank you for reading and checking out my drawing. Have a wonderful day ahead
