Hello dear friends, I hope you have had a very productive and successful week, I was doing some work outside my home but I am back. This time I wanted to make a drawing of my little dog, her name is Manchita, she is close to completing 10 human years, which I really have no idea how many years are in the life of a dog. My little girl has been very faithful, and she almost communicates with words, the truth is that a dog's body language is something incredible, you feel that they understand you. Without further ado, I leave you with the step-by-step process of how I did it.
Hola queridos amigos, espero que hayan tenido una gran semana muy productiva y llena de éxitos, yo estuve haciendo algunos trabajos fuera de mi casa pero ya he vuelto. Esta vez he querido realizad un dibujo de mi pequeña perrita, su nombre es Manchita, ya está próxima a cumplir 10 años humanos, que en realidad no tengo idea de cuantos años son en la vida de un perro. Mi pequeña ha sido muy fiel, y casi se comunica con palabras, la verdad es que el lenguaje corporal de un perro es algo increíble, sientes que te entienden. Sin más que decir los dejo con el proceso paso a paso de como lo hice.
PROCESS
Following the example of the reference photo, I draw my pet like this in profile, starting from the top of the head, and then including the nose, up to the ears and then the neck. I also give shape to his left eye drawing it in the area that corresponds to it. To finish the sketch process, with the white pencil I am outlining all the edges of the figure in the drawing, which will then be filled in with black.
Siguiendo el ejemplo de la foto de referencia, dibujo a mi mascota así de perfil, comenzando desde la parte superior de la cabeza, y luego incluyendo la nariz, hasta sus orejas y posteriormente el cuello. También le doy forma a su ojo izquierdo dibujándolo en la zona que le corresponde. Para finalizar con el proceso del boceto, con el lápiz blanco voy delineando todos los bordes de la figura del dibujo, que luego será rellenada con color negro.
The next step was to start with the eye, like any portrait, very lively eyes give way to a very realistic portrait, so despite being small I paid a lot of attention to detail to make the eye well lit, and therefore well realistic. By doing this, I could better locate myself within the drawing from a global perspective, so I then began to shape the entire part of the nose and muzzle, painting that entire area with white, since my dog has abundant fur. white throughout that area with small spots, hence its name.
El siguiente paso fue comenzar con el ojo, como todo retrato, unos ojos bien vivos dan paso a un retrato bien realista, así que a pesar de ser pequeño puse mucho atención en los detalles para hacer que el ojo quedara bien iluminado, y por ende bien realista. Al hacer esto, ya me podía ubicar mejor dentro del dibujo desde una perspectiva global, de manera que comencé entonces a darle forma toda la parte de la nariz y el hocico, pintando toda esa zona con color blanco, ya que mi perrita tiene abundante pelaje blanco en toda esa zona con pequeñas manchitas, de ahí su nombre.
With the black color I begin to draw all the spots and also shape the muzzle, so that it can be green in the middle of the white color, here I have only put a layer of white color. With the prismacolor color I am outlining the part of the pejaje that is illuminated with light, since being black it emits a shine, I do this with very soft strokes, in the same way I am also painting the neck, using the same technique.
Con el color negro comienzo a dibujar todas las manchitas y tambien darle forma al hocico, para que pueda verde en medio del color blanco, aquí solo he puesto una capa de color blanco. Con el color prismacolor voy delineando la parte del pejaje que esta iluminado con luz, ya que al ser de color negro este emite un brillo, esto lo hago con trazos muy suaves, de igual forma tambien voy pintando el cuello, usando la misma técnica.
Now I concentrate on painting the entire neck area, most of the photography is found in all of this part, since being on a black background, white stands out more. I used three more layers of white, making soft strokes to give the sensation of fur, sometimes when it is very strong this effect cannot be achieved, hair must always be done gently, both in people and animals, like a caress. Also the back of the head, I paint these with white color to make them in reflection mode. In this way, this portrait of my dear companion has been completed.
Ahora me concentro en pintar toda la zona del cuello, en toda es parte se encuentra la mayor parte de la fotografía, ya que al ser en un fondo negro el blanco destaca mas. Utilicé tres capas más de color blanco, haciendo trazos suaves para dar la sensación del pelaje, a veces cuando se hace muy fuerte no se puede lograr este efecto, siempre el cabello, tanto en personas como animales debe hacerse suavemente, como una caricia. También las parte de atrás de la cabeza, estas las pinto con color blanco para hacerlas en modo de reflejo. De esta manera ha quedado finalizado este retrato de mi querida compañera.
FINAL WORK
After correcting small details it was finished, I really liked how it turned out, my little Manchita likes to pose for photos, it's not like my cat who ignores me all hours of the day. On the other hand, she is always where I go, what I want most is that she never leaves my side. I love her very much, we have to give a lot of love to our pets, I think they are our purest version and full of true love without the harmfulness of the human being. Después de corregir pequeños detalles quedó finalizado, la verdad me gustó mucho como me quedó, mi pequeña Manchita le gusta posar para las fotos, no es como mi gata que me ignora todas las horas del día. En cambio ella esta siempre a donde voy, lo que mas deseo es que no se vaya nunca de mi lado. La quiero muchísimo, hay que darle mucho amor a nuestras mascotas, pienso que ellos son nuestra versión más pura y llena de verdadero amor sin lo nocivo del ser humano.
