Hello friends of Hive, I hope you are very well and healthy, today I want to share with you my latest drawing. This is the most representative character in the world of video games, the plumber Mario Bros, it was the game that I started with many years ago in my childhood and I still continue to play it as if it were the first time. This drawing is made with Prismacolor Premier colored pencils and my intention was to try to do it with a 3D aesthetic. I hope you like it.
Hola amigos de Hive, espero que se encuentren muy bien y con salud, hoy quiero compartir con ustedes mi último dibujo. Se trata del personaje más representativo del mundo de los videjuegos, el fontanero Mario Bros, fue el juego con el que me inicié hace muchos años en mi infancia y aún lo sigo jugando como si fuera la primera vez. Este dibujo está hecho con lápices de color Prismacolor Premier y mi intención fue tratar de hacerlo con una estética 3D. Espero les guste.
First we draw with white pencil on top of this gray cardboard, it will be very useful to achieve the 3D effect in contrast with white. We paint the hat and then we start with the face using soft pastel colors and some dark ones.
Primero dibujamos con lapiz blanco encima de esta cartulina de color gris, nos será muy útil para lograr el efecto 3D en contraste con color blanco. Pintamos el sombrero y luego comenzamos con el rostro usando colores pasteles suaves y algunos oscuros.</div
We finish outlining the face well using light pastel colors and also some brown for the leftovers. We also paint the eyes respecting the corresponding lighting.
Teminamos delineando bien el rostro utilizando colores pasteles claros y tambien algo de marron para las sobras. Tambien pintamos los ojos respetando la iluminación correspondiente.
Next we paint the uniform blue and the sweater red. For the uniform we first use white color and make thin lines of white where the uniform seam passes. Meanwhile, we start with the red sweater with orange and some yellow to lighten the tones, then in the darkest parts we use scarlet red and crimson.
Seguidamente pintamos el uniforme de azul y el sueter rojo. Para el uniforme utilizamos primero color blanco y hacemos unas delgadas lineas de color blanco por donde pase la costura del uniforme. Mientras tanto el sueter rojo comenzamos con color naranja y algo de amarillo para aclarar los tonos, luego en las partes mas oscuras utilizamos color rojo escarlata y carmesí.
The last part of the Marios Bros figure to paint are his gloves, we can use normal white and pastel white to give lights to the most illuminated parts. To draw the lines of the fingers and the fist we use gray color gently and only if necessary the color black.
La última parte a pintar de la figura de Marios Bros son sus guantes, podemos usar color blanco normal y color blanco pastel para dar luces a las partes más iluminadas. Para dibujar las líneas de los dedos y el puño utilizamos color gris suavemente y solo si es necesario el color negro.
Now we will make an optical illusion in the background for the drawing. We will look for a transparent plastic, we put it on top of the drawing and trace the silhouette of the left part and cut it, then with black spray paint we gently spray the left part that is uncovered, making sure that the drawing is well protected, with this we will do a shadow that will be reflected in the background and will contrast with the right part that is more illuminated and thus we will have finished.
Ahora haremos una ílusión óptica en el fondo para el dibujo. Buscaremos un plástico transparente, lo ponemos encima del dibujo y trazamos la silueta de la parte izquierda y recortamos, luego con pintura en spray de color negro rociamos suavemente la parte izquierda que queda descubierta, asegurandonos de que el dibujo quede bien protegido, con esto haremos una sombra que se reflejará en el fondo y hará contraste con la parte derecha que se ve más iluminada y así habremos terminado.
This has been the final finish of the Mario Bros drawing, my favorite games were those of the Nintendo Family Computer console, a classic that still breaks my mind, Mario 64, where the missions became more difficult and the fun Mario Kart.
