Hello dear friends, I hope you are very well, today I want to show you my latest drawing, I have been giving some gifts to my closest friends and this time it was the turn of a childhood friend, it is one of those few friendships that I have known since I I have use of reason. I made a portrait of her pet, a huge puppy named Achilles, he is a very beautiful dog, black as the night that also shines like the stars, so this morning I surprised her by sending her this drawing since she is in Chile , very far from my country Venezuela, and I wanted to give her something so that she knows that I do not forget her. I want to share the step by step of how I did it, I hope you like it.
Hola queridos amigos espero que se encuentren muy bien, hoy quiero mostrarles mi último dibujo, he estado haciendo algunos obsequios a mis amigos más allegados y esta vez le tocó a una amiga de la infancia, es una de esas pocas amistades que tengo conociéndolas desde que tengo uso de razón. Hice un retrato de su mascota, un enorme cachorro llamado Aquiles, es un perro muy hermoso, de un color negro como la noche que brilla también como las estrellas, así que esta ma´ñana la sorprendí enviándole este dibujo ya que se encuentra en Chile, muy lejos de mi país Venezuela, y quise darle algo para que sepa que no la olvido. Quiero compartirles el paso a paso de como lo hice, espero les guste.

I started by sketching the puppy with light pencils and then easily erasing the guidelines, I paid a lot of attention to all parts of the face to make it very realistic. As is always my custom, I started from one point and from there I expanded the drawing, this time, starting from the nose, so I have a better perspective of where I am going with the drawing, making this part very realistic is the point for me starting point for the rest of the face.
Comcencé haciendo el boceto del perrito con lápiz claros para luego borrar facilmente las líneas guías, puse mucha atención en todas las partes del rostro para hacerlo bien realista. Como siempre es costumbre en mi comence desde un punto y desde ahí expandí el dibujo, en esta oportunidad, comenzando desde la nariz, asi tengo una mejor perspectiva hacia donde me voy dirigiendo con el dibujo, hacer esta parte bien realista es para mi el punto de partida para el resto del rostro.

Next I was making the layers of color for the fur of this dog that is so beautiful, so I started with gray colors, and as you can see I followed the same model of the hair at the moment of making the line, fast and smooth without marking the tip of the hair too much. color pencil. So I also outlined the eyes and then painted them with an intense brown color that suddenly turns yellow.
Seguidamente fui haciendo las capas de colorpara el pelaje de este perrito que es tan hermoso, así que comencé con colores grises, y como pueden ver seguí el mismo modelo del pelo al momento de hacer el trazo, rápido y suave sin marcar mucho la punta del lápiz de color. Así también fui delineando los ojos para luego pintarlos del color que tienen un marrón intenso que de pronto se vuelve amarillo.

The next step was to paint the eyes, as you can see I used very strong yellow and orange colors but then I darkened the edges with ocher and light brown, outlining the eyes well and leaving an unpainted space to then put white color for the reflection. of the light in the eyes. After that I continued painting the rest of the drawing including shaping the ears with equally smooth and fast strokes.
El siguiente paso fue pintar los ojos, como pueden observar utilicé colores amarillos y naranjas muy fuertes pero luego fuí oscureciendo en los bordes con color ocre y café claro, deliniando bien los ojos y dejando un espacio sin pintar para luego ponerle color blanco para el reflejo de la luz en los ojos. Despues de eso seguí pintando el resto del dibujo incluyendo darle forma a las orejas con trazos igual de suaves y rápidos.

Now with the black color I began to darken the lines of the fur more, especially those areas that were more shaded, leaving those where the light is stronger free, I only paint these parts with a gray pencil. Once all this process is done with black color throughout the drawing, I take a soft brush and begin to blur all the lines, including the eyes and also the tongue, the purpose is to better mix the colors so that it has a better finish and to have another opportunity to reinforce the strokes with a third layer.
Ahora con el color negro comencé a oscurecer más los trazos del pelaje, especialmente aquellas zonas que estaban más sombreadas, dejando libres aquellas donde la luz es más fuerte, estas partes solo las pinto con lápiz de color gris. Una vez hecho todo este proceso con color negro por todo el dibujo, tomo un pincel suave y comienzo a difuminar todos los trazos, incluyendo los ojos y tambien la lengua, el propósito es mezclar mejor los colores para que tenga mejor acabado y tener otra oportunidad para reforzar los trazos con una tercera capa.

Finally, after blurring the colors now came the best part, reinforcing new layers with black and blending again, I did this twice, I really like doing this process because this is where I feel the drawing comes to life. In the same way I used white to do the opposite and reinforce the brightness of little Achilles' fur, to finish I added a little light blue and gray, so that brightness will look even better.
Por último, después de difuminar los colores ahora vino la mejor parte, reforzar con color negro nuevas capas y volver a difuminar, esto lo hice 2 veces, me gusta mucho hacer este proceso porque aquí es donde siento que el dibujo cobra vida. De la misma forma utilicé color blanco para hacer lo contrario y reforzar el brillo del pelaje del pequeño Aquiles, para finalizar agregué un poco de azul claro y gris, así ese brillo se verá aún mejor.
