I hope you are doing well, today I bring you the process of this drawing that I made with paints and which is based on a scene from the Netflix series Arcane where Vi and Caitlyn have a kind of confrontation when they try to find Jinx. - Lo que utilice para realizar el dibujo en tradicional en una hoja tipo cartulina tamaño 35 x 28 cm, un lápiz de grafito 2 HB y un borrador (corté mi borrador haciendo que las esquinas quedarán en punta así será más fácil borrar espacios pequeños) y mis pinturas témperas.
- What I used to make the drawing in traditional on a cardboard type sheet size 35 x 28 cm, a graphite pencil 2 HB and an eraser (I cut my eraser making the corners to be pointed so it will be easier to erase small spaces) and my tempera paints.

Comencé realizando el boceto del rostro, sin hacer mucha presión al grafito para evitar que a la hora de borrar se manche la hoja y tratando de encontrar la mayor precisión posible a la hora de ir integrando sus rasgos. Mezcle en mi paleta un poco de rojo con amarillo para hacer naranja y luego fui agregando pintura blanca para irlo haciendo unos tonos más claro para hacer la primera capa de sus tonos de piel. A medida que iba mezclando agregaba agua para que la pintura no estuviera tan espesa y fuera más manejable. En zonas donde hay sobras dejaba un poco más de pintura para que se destacara más en sus rostros.
I began by sketching the face, without putting too much pressure on the graphite to avoid smudging the paper when erasing and trying to find the greatest possible precision when integrating her features. I mixed in my palette a little red with yellow to make orange and then I added white paint to make it a few shades lighter to make the first layer of her skin tones. As I was mixing I added water so that the paint would not be so thick and would be more manageable. In areas where there are leftovers I left a little more paint to make it stand out more on their faces.
Deje que secara para ir agregando otras capas, así como agregar un poco de pintura mezclada con naranja para ir oscureciendo las partes menos iluminadas de sus rostros como son las sombras en sus narices, sus ojos y párpados además de las líneas del rostro, fui dejando lados sin pintar para se creará la ilusión de la luz dando directamente a esa parte del rostro. Fui agregando más oscuridad y con un poco de morado fui haciendo un tono marrón claro para ir oscureciendo poco a poco los lugares con sombras.
I let it dry to add other layers, as well as adding a little paint mixed with orange to darken the less illuminated parts of their faces such as the shadows on their noses, eyes and eyelids as well as the lines of the face, I left the sides unpainted to create the illusion of light giving directly to that part of the face. I added more darkness and with a little bit of purple I made a light brown tone to darken little by little the places with shadows.
Acentue un poco más sus rasgos con una capa más oscura de marrón y fui dejando espacios para que hicieran la iluminación en sus rostros. Continué con la mezcla de marrón pero esta vez intercalando un poco de morado y rojo para las luces que habían en ese lugar, sobretodo en las zonas como las mejillas, los pómulos, ojos, barbillas y en el caso de Caitlyn, quien tiene más sombreados, pues fui agregando aún más en la frente y su rostro.
I accentuated their features a little more with a darker layer of brown and left some spaces for them to make the illumination on their faces. I continued with the mixture of brown but this time interspersed a little purple and red for the lights that were in that place, especially in areas such as the cheeks, cheekbones, eyes, chins and in the case of Caitlyn, who has more shading, I added even more on the forehead and face.
Agregué ahora ala mezcla anterior un poco más de color morado y un poco de negro, fui haciendo sombras más oscuras sin dejar de agregar las luces moradas y rojas. Luego delinee sus ojos con pintura negra y fui haciendo sus cejas aplicando capas, primero en ceja de Vi fui haciendo capas con marrón para irla oscureciendo y que se viera bastante oscura (no aplique directamente el negro porque quería darle profundidad a sus cejas) y en las cejas de Caitlyn primero agregué una capa de azul mezclado con un poco de negro y luego la fui oscureciendo más y más con el negro. Hice con pintura negra el tatuaje que tiene Vi en su mejilla que significa su nombre pero en números romanos.
Now I added a little more purple and a little black to the previous mixture, I made darker shadows while adding the purple and red lights. Then I lined her eyes with black paint and I made her eyebrows by applying layers, first on Vi's eyebrow I applied layers of brown to darken it and make it look quite dark (I didn't apply the black directly because I wanted to give depth to her eyebrows) and on Caitlyn's eyebrows I first added a layer of blue mixed with a little black and then I made it darker and darker with the black. I did with black paint the tattoo that Vi has on her cheek which means her name but in Roman numerals.

I painted her eyes with a mixture of blue and very little black so they wouldn't be totally blue, then I mixed a little red with purple and painted her lips in layers. After it dried I did the same procedure again, only this time I left less saturated spaces of paint to create a gradient of colors, as in the lips. Then I painted the pupil in both eyes.
Ya terminada la piel comencé a hacer su ropa, primero pinte con los colores que tenían en común como el azul, mezcle azul con negro para tener un azul oscuro e ir haciendo capaz en la manga de Vi y en el gorro de la chaqueta de Caitlyn. Con azul puro hice la parte que está más iluminada de la manga de Vi. Con un poco de morado ilumine los bordes del gorro de Caitlyn y poco a poco fui oscureciendo éste mismo. Luego comencé a pintar la otra parte de la manga de la chaqueta de Vi, utilice rojo puro para hacer la primera capa.
Once the skin was finished I started to make their clothes, first I painted with the colors they had in common such as blue, I mixed blue with black to have a dark blue and then I made Vi's sleeve and the cap of Caitlyn's jacket. With pure blue I did the part of Vi's sleeve that is more illuminated. With a little bit of purple I lightened the edges of Caitlyn's hat and little by little I darkened the hat itself. Then I started to paint the other part of Vi's jacket sleeve, using pure red to make the first layer.
Luego fui oscureciendolo mezclando rojo con morado para hacer los pliegues que se hacían en su manga, continué con el cabello de Vi, ya que su cabello es de un rojo vivo utilice primero el rojo puro y fui espaciendolo para crear una capa, en la parte rapada de su cabello lo que hice para hacer la primera capa fue mezclar rojo con morado e irlo esparciendo hasta que quedara uniforme. Then I darkened it by mixing red with purple to make the folds that were made in her sleeve, I continued with Vi's hair, since her hair is a bright red I used pure red first and spaced it out to create a layer, in the shaved part of her hair what I did to make the first layer was to mix red with purple and spread it until it was uniform. Then I started to make the details in the shaved part of her head, making little by little the small hairs that you can see there. I also left blank spaces in the other part of her hair that would make the shines and the illumination of her hair. I made all the details of her hair making the shadows with purple and red and leaving light parts.
Este es el resultado del dibujo, terminé con el brazo de Vi el cual tiene una cinta atada hasta casi su codo, primero hice una capa base con gris y luego fui oscureciendola, haciendo los detalles de cada parte de la cinta con un gris más oscuro y un poco de negro, por último agregué algunos brillos con tinta blanca y puse mi firma. Estos dos personajes dentro de la serie fue la clave para demostrar que aún dentro de toda la corrupción en el "perfecto" Piltover y dentro de todo el caos abajo en Zaun aún existe gente que quiere hacer de ambos lugares un lugar mejor para todos los habitantes. A pesar de que tenían sus diferencias lograron arreglarse y generar un gran lazo. Caitlyn pudo comprender lo que Vi deseaba y aún así la ayudo para poder detener a Jinx. Incluso si esto la hacía ver como si estuviera en contra de Piltover. Definitivamente dos personajes llenos de fortalezas, fuerza y valentía. ❤️💙
This is the result of the drawing, I finished with Vi's arm which has a ribbon tied up to almost her elbow, first I made a base layer with gray and then I darkened it, making the details of each part of the ribbon with a darker gray and a little black, finally I added some glitter with white ink and put my signature. These two characters within the series was the key to show that even within all the corruption in the "perfect" Piltover and within all the chaos down in Zaun there are still people who want to make both places a better place for all the inhabitants. Even though they had their differences they managed to patch things up and generate a great bond. Caitlyn was able to understand what Vi wanted and still helped her to stop Jinx. Even if it made her look like she was against Piltover. Definitely two characters full of strengths, strength and bravery. ❤️💙
