Good evening everyone,
I bring to you my recent drawing titled Medusa. I find her intriguing because she was greatly misjudged and never deserved what happened to her. She was raped and punish for an offense that wasn't her fault and banned to bear the consequences for the rest of her life. Her situation is just like what's happening nowadays. When a lady is molested, they blame her for it that its her fault by dressing wrongly or trusting the guy by visiting him. I read a story sometimes ago on social media of a mother beating her young girl for seducing a grown man thereby prompting him to force himself on her. How on earth is that fair? A young girl for that matter. Even her own mother blames her, now imagine what mentality she will grow up with. I just hope all these will stop one day but we both know it won't. We could only pray, protect ourselves and younger ones and teach them how to survive in this world.
