Yesterday I was drawing a samurai to be posted but when I finished it I thought of drawing something different so I did not post the samurai and skipped a day of posting which I don´t like but I do it when I know what I will be drawing for the next post, I thought of drawing a statue, maybe somthing greek or some angel and found this amazing photography that unfortunate couldn´t find the photographer´s name and di a drawing of it. you have the reference phoyography at the end of the post, I hope you like my drawing.
Angel.
First draft of the angel, This darft was a bit challenging to do because of the fabric and how I needed to outline the shadows.
Here I started to add some light shadows in the clothes and some in the hand.
The first have of the shadows in the clothes are finished in this point. this is all very light so I would know where would be the darker shadows at the end.
Here I did a little bit more in the clothes and then moved to the wings adding some light shadows on it.
Now that the light shadows are finished I could start to draw the darker parts of the shadows and add some gray for the lighter parts.
Here is finished the part of the fabric in the legs without much details just the shadows.
This part for me it was "finished" but I thought something was missing, I added the details of the spots of stains.
Now is a finished drawing, I blacken the back of the angel to highlight even more the details of the drawing. I hope you all like it as much as I do.
