Composition and Background: I tried to ensure the drawing was well-balanced. The central figure is framed by the crowded and detailed bookshelves and the Gothic window on the left. These background elements establish a setting: an ancient archive or magical library.
Details of the Figure: The figure, a demonic being or succubus with long, white hair, is the focal point. The membranous wings and curved horns integrate harmoniously with her figure. Her expression is one of deep concentration, not malice.
Artistic Process
This is the order of execution:
Initial Sketch (Base Line): It begins with a very light sketch to establish the figure's proportions. The location of the window and the general perspective of the library were not yet planned at the time of the initial sketch.
Definition of Contours: I went over the contour lines of the figure and her accessories (horns, wings, the coat, and the book) with a harder pencil (an H pencil).
Application of Shade (Volume): I used a softer pencil (in this case, a 3B) to create the dark tones. I applied gradual shading to the coat.
Details of the Environment: The structure of the Gothic window, the shelves, the books, and the desk, as well as the shadowed areas of the shelving, were defined. The ray of light is achieved by leaving the paper white.
- Refining and Texture: I added final details, such as the textures on the book spines and subtle shading on the figure's skin to give it softness.
Story: "the most important in the secret archive"
This young woman's name was not a secret, but an access key: Vespera.
Vespera was the chief librarian of the Interplanar Archive, a structure that existed right on the threshold between the terrestrial world and the celestial and abyssal spheres. Her demonic lineage (the horns, the wings that sometimes weighed her down like stone) was the price paid for understanding the syntax of forbidden magic.
Her sole task was to find, catalogue, and read.
That afternoon, the light pouring in through the Gothic rose window, which was actually the reflection of a dying star, found her in the "Ontology and Dematerialization" section. The book she held in her hands was the Summum Aethelred, a tome so ancient that its leather cover seemed to whisper. The pages, with their circular symbols and geometric calligraphy, contained not spells of destruction, but the equations that explained the disappearance of souls.
As the golden dust motes floated in the beam of light, Vespera frowned slightly. She was not seeking power; she was looking for a simple answer that had been denied to her for millennia: Why?
Someone or something was erasing records from cosmic history, eliminating the memory of minor gods and great wars. And the only trace of the truth was not in steel or fire, but in the archaic papyrus of her vast, silent domain. She was the only one who could decipher the erasure, and to do so, she needed to read until that dying star completely faded.

Definición de Contornos: Se repaso las líneas de contorno de la figura y sus accesorios (cuernos, alas, el abrigo y el libro) con un lápiz más duro (un lapiz H)
Aplicación de Sombra (Volumen): Se utilizo un lápiz más blando (en este caso un 3B) para crear los tonos oscuros. Se aplico sombreado gradual en la capa
Detalles del Entorno: Se define la estructura de la ventana gótica, los estantes, los libros y el escritorio, y las áreas en sombra de la estantería. El rayo de luz se logra dejando el papel en blanco.
Afinado y Textura: Se añadio detalles finales, como las texturas en los lomos de los libros y el sombreado sutil en la piel de la figura para darle suavidad.

Su linaje demoníaco (los cuernos, las alas que a veces le pesaban como piedra) era el precio que se pagaba por comprender la sintaxis de la magia prohibida.
Su única tarea era encontrar, catalogar y leer.
