Hello friends and colleagues, today I want to tell you how this hand-painted t-shirt with professional textile paints is special for painting on clothes. This is a project that was created with love by me for a client. I am an artist who depicts the soul of people's pets on t-shirts.This t-shirt was a challenge for me because the picture of the puppy was quite strange and as you can see a black t-shirt and a black dog combined in one are not a very good combination but I still gave my all to make it the best possible portrait I have ever painted and I hope you like it what you think share in the comments did I capture the soul of the puppy in the picture
1.The first stage of painting is to iron the t-shirt and then put it on a cardboard box where I can put it as a stand so that the t-shirt doesn't get wrinkled while I paint it. I prepare my paints. Here I have the t-shirt and then I start the process. It is very important to emphasize here that we have no right to make mistakes when painting on textiles because when you smudge a part of the garment there is no way to fix it. And be very careful while painting on clothes. If of course it is custom-made, like with me, I start with the base. By making the main features of a puppy.
2.The second stage of drawing is to draw the main features like ears, eyes and nose and then start blending the colors, like when painting with textiles and the garment itself absorbs a lot of paint, you have to repeat it at least two or three times.
3.In fact, the only color I added to this t-shirt was the puppy's red tongue. As you can see, it turned out well, honestly, the contrast between the tongue and the black t-shirt, what do you think?
4.I really liked how I placed the t-shirt on a red background. Which made a great contrast between what we are drawing and what I have put on as a mat so that I don't get the sofa dirty. What do you do while you draw? Do you wear any things to help you not get everything around you dirty? Because for example, I draw at home and everything I work on is being built. It's probably 10 km away from me because when I'm creative, absolutely everything around me becomes a drawing studio. Haha. And here's my t-shirt, now finished. What do you think about my work?
5.The fifth stage of the production process is extremely important and this is to photograph the T-shirt that I painted, which was extremely difficult for me because my paints are glossy and they reflect light. Be very careful when you have glossy paints because when you photograph in sunlight they reflect a lot. At that moment I decided to photograph it on my rug, my soft rug, and do the review with it. I think it turned out well.
No matter what you do, how you do it, and who you do it for, the important thing is to do it with love. That's why my advice is to always open with your heart and soul, because for example, when I draw animals, I put all my heart into seeing the life in the eyes of a puppy, so that the person who looks at it can feel it at any given moment and remember the good memories they have created with it. I hope I have made you happy with this post. I wish you lots of creativity and inspiration.
