I'm still practising drawing and painting. So today I want to show you a drawing I did yesterday of a redhead girl. Meet Ginny 😊
I did the drawing with graphite pencil first, before painting it with watercolour.
Sigo practicando el dibujo y pintura. Así que hoy les quiero mostrar un dibujo que hice ayer de una chica pelirroja. Les presento a Ginny 😊
El dibujo lo hice con lápiz de grafito primero, antes de pintarlo con acuarela.

For the skin I used mustard colour mixed with red, it's small proportions as I wanted to achieve a white skin. And for the shadow under his neck I used the same colours but with a little more red.
For the blush on her cheeks and nose, I used orange mixed with a little bit of red. With the same mixture but with a little more orange I painted her lips.
Para la piel usé el color mostaza mezclado con el rojo, es pequeñas proporciones ya que quería lograr una piel blanca. Y para la sombra debajo de su cuello usé los mismos colores pero con un poco más de rojo.
Para el rubor en sus mejillas y su nariz, usé el anarajando mezclado con un poquito de rojo. Con la misma mezcla pero con un poco más de naranja pinté sus labios.
For the eyes I used mustard mixed with just a little bit of brown.
For her hair and eyebrows I mixed orange with a little brown. The hair was painted in layers, starting with a lighter one, to reserve the light strands, and so on to the darkest layer.
For the sweater, I mixed blue with black as I wanted to get a fairly dark shade of blue. For the shadow on the neck of the jumper I added a little more black.
Para los ojos usé el color mostaza mezclado con sólo un poco de marrón.
Para su cabello y cejas mezclé el anarajando con un poco marrón. El cabello lo pinté por capas, comenzando con una más clara, para así reservar los mechones con luz, y así hasta la capa más oscura.
Para el sueter, mezclé el azul con negro ya que quería obtener un tono bastante oscuro de azul. Para la sombra en el cuello del suéter agregué un poco más de negro.
To finish, I outlined the drawing with purple crayon, especially the waves of her hair to get the desired effect. I also painted the iris in her eyes with orange and purple crayon.
Looking at the final result, I think I have improved on the previous drawing I showed you. That makes me happy. I don't practice every day, but I still notice the improvement.
Para finalizar, delineee el dibujo con creyón púrpura, especialmente las ondas de su cabello para obtener el efecto deseado. Igualmente, pinté el iris en sus ojos con creyón anaranjado y púrpura.
Viendo el resultado final, creo que he mejorado respecto al dibujo anterior que les mostré. Eso me contenta. No practico todos los días, y aun así noto la mejoría.
