Greetings, everyone!
I'm new to the sketchbook community! I usually post finished art pieces but today I decided to also share some pages from my sketchbook that I like.
I really like this page. I don't have progress shots of this, since I was outside when I drew this. Some of my favorite pages come to life when I'm drawing outside, mostly at the corner of a café or a pub. Has some sort of a boosting effect on my inspiration for some reason. Anyways, this is my most active character I use on RP's, Jeanette. She's afraid of water or being submerged to it since her mother tried to drown her as a child to "baptize" her. This portrayal of that fear came out of nowhere when I was idly doodling and I got carried on with it.
Done with:
- St. Petersburg White Nights watercolors
- Pentel Pocket Brush Pen for lineart
- Sakura Micron 0.3 for finer lines (such as stray hair)
- Uniball Signo Broad White Gel Pen for highlights
The sketchbook is nothing special, it's a 90gsm A4 brandless sketchbook.
I hope you like it! And hope to see you on some other posts!
