Hi!
Sharing my watercolor artwork. Just recently made. Feels so good to paint something after several months! Super stress buster āš¤©
I used one relatively thin paintbrush and my watercolor palette

Beautiful mess:
I've made a few of these in my past art exhibitions but what I tried to do different now is maybe the gestures and motion.
Elephant ears and foot swaying (if it isn't obvious or if I did not do so well aha sorry)
The crumpled petal
This is a series which I plan to do. The next scene will be a continuation but I have not done it yet but I will.
Work in progress photos
Okay, will take my sweet time here and upload these one by one and writing what I want to say.
š¹ Sketch first!
Then mixing bright red + white and more water to create the base.
š¹ Basically controlling the water and color where it pools to create depth. Still using red + white.
š¹ +Yellow enters the group chat!
Adding a hint of yellow which I will be blending soon
š¹ Adding green to the leaves, this is majority yellow + green. Base always needs to be lighter.
It's got great texture when the colors meet in the water. Very calming isn't it?
Then the light blues of the elephant.
š I used one type of blue only plus white for the base color. I just dilute with water. I added a few browns and yellows and darker blue for shadow.
Blotches and lines for textures and wrinkles.
Yes the elephant gets a little blush, pink cheeks for that youthful bliss in the smile!
Final outcome!
Hope you enjoyed my elephant art!
Thank you very much!
God bless you all ā¤ļøā¤ļøā¤ļøšš¹
