Hello everyone, I hope you are having a great day. Today I want to share with you one of my digital illustrations: a female portrait in semi-realistic style. The most rewarding part of this process was the construction of the character, and what I enjoyed the most was the expression on her face and the lights that I applied in this drawing.

To get started on this piece, I relied on a reference found on Pinterest, which was key to capturing the vision I had in mind. Next, I will show you several images that reflect the progress of the illustration.

Hola a todos, espero que estén teniendo un excelente día. El dia le quiero compartir con ustedes una de mis ilustraciones digitales: un retrato femenino en estilo semirrealista. Lo más gratificante de este proceso fue la construcción del personaje, y lo que más disfruté fue la expresión en su rostro y las luces que que aplique en este dibujo.

Process

I began the process with an initial sketch, in which I defined the proportions and structured the base of the character with precise strokes. Next, I advanced with the application of color, carefully selecting the palette and then adjusting the shadows and lights to generate depth in the portrait.
