Hello everyone, I hope you are all well. It has been quite some time since I last posted, and today I want to return with a portrait exercise. I finished this digital illustration yesterday and want to share the final result with you: a semi-realistic female portrait exercise. What I enjoyed most was the colors I used for this drawing.

To begin this illustration, I had to find a visual reference, which I found on Pinterest. This image was the main thing I needed to start bringing the idea I had in mind to life. Next, I'm going to share some images that show the progress of the illustration.

Hola a todos, espero se encuentren bien, tenia bastante tiempo sin publicar y el dia de hoy quiero volver a con una practica de un retrato. Esta ilustracion digital lo acabo de terminar el dia de ayer y quiero compartir con ustedes el resultado final, la practica de un retrato femenino al estilo semirrealista. Lo que más disfruté fue los colores que use para este dibujo.

Para comenzar en esta ilustracion, tuve que buscar una referencia visual que encontré en Pinterest. Esta imagen fue lo principal para empezar el materializar la idea que tenía en mente. A continuación, les voy a compartir algunas imágenes que muestran el progreso de la ilustración.

Process

Like all drawings, I began with a sketch, using certain strokes to establish the proportions and main structure of the character. I then moved on to the coloring stage, adding shadows to give depth to the portrait.

Como todo dibujo comence en la fase del boceto, para poder ir haciendo las proporciones y la estructura principal del personaje mediante ciertos trazos. Para luego seguir con la etapa del color, despues ir agregando las sombras y asi dar profundida al retrato.
