El Querrequerre (Cyanocorax yncas) es una de las más hermosas y coloridas aves de nuestro continente, y quizá también, una de las más simpáticas e inteligentes. Son aves que se caracterizan por su marcada territorialidad e intolerancia frente a los intrusos, bien sea con otros querrequerres o con aves distintas. El origen de su nombre surge por simple onomatopeya, y dada las muy distintas y sonoras vocalizaciones que este animal puede emitir para comunicarse con sus congéneres. Decir de alguien que parece un querrequerre es tildarlo de cascarrabias, mal encarado, intolerante y agresivo, y así quedó a la postre registrado en la segunda acepción al término en el Diccionario de la Real Academia Española: Querrequerre: 2. Coloq. Ven. Persona que siempre está de mal humor.

La comparación, desde luego, no es acertada.

Cuando inicie los post en hive, mi material de trabajo era el lápiz de grafito, gracias a la práctica continua dentro de la plataforma he podido incursionar con otras técnicas para el dibujo, como lo es el bolígrafo, el rotulador y más recientemente los lápices de colores. Técnica que ahora estoy tratando de aprender. Este dibujo es una muestra de ello, pero como no quiero dejar de usar las otras herramientas mi intención es probar el dibujo con las técnicas mixtas para combinar cada uno de estos elementos. Espero les guste.

When I started the posts in hive, my working material was the graphite pencil, thanks to the continuous practice within the platform I have been able to dabble with other techniques for drawing, such as pen, marker and more recently colored pencils. Technique that I am now trying to learn. This drawing is a sample of it, but as I do not want to stop using the other tools my intention is to try drawing with mixed techniques to combine each of these elements. I hope you like it.
