I made this painting last year, from a photo I took myself. I don't usually use light and shadow technique in my drawings, but the photo helped me a lot with that. I tapped the canvas with the brush to better mix the colors and I thought it gave a really cool effect.
I don't have much experience with oil paint, I really like the result, but I find the process difficult because it takes a long time to dry
