[ESP] Diario de mandalas #1[ENG] Mandala Journal #1

Qué tal todos? Espero que se encuentren muy bien. Tengo mucho tiempo pensando en hacer algo que me mantenga en un modo de dibujo y creación constante. Se me ocurrió que podía hacerlo con un dibujo diario de un mandala que es algo que me gusta muchísimo y para mantener la motivación y el compromiso se los voy a ir compartiendo por aquí.

Hi everyone! I hope you are feeling great. I have been thinking for a long time about doing something that keeps me in a constant drawing and creating mode. It occurred to me that I could do it with a daily drawing of a mandala which is something I really like and to keep the motivation and commitment I will be sharing them here.

Comencé con estos fondos que había hecho hace un par de días en un cuaderno con lo que me había sobrado de pintura de otro proyecto. Como tenia dos hojas no me pude resistir y dibujé uno en cada hoja.

I started with these backgrounds that I had made a couple of days ago in a notebook with the leftover paint from another project. As I had two sheets of paper I couldn't resist and drew one on each sheet.

Para el fondo azul, magenta, y violeta utilicé un marcador blanco. Quería probar como se vería y me gusto el resultado solo que en las zonas mas claras no se distinguen las formas del dibujo.

For the blue, magenta and violet background I used a white marker. I wanted to test how it would look like and I liked the result only that in the lighter areas the shapes of the drawing are not distinguishable.

Como el fondo violeta tenía muchos espacios claros el marcador blanco casi no se iba a notar. Por eso decidí utilizar el negro. Mientras dibujaba me concentre tanto que termine todo el dibujo sin tomar el registro del proceso. ¿A ustedes les ha pasado esto? Porque a mi casi siempre me sucede cada vez que estoy haciendo algún proyecto que quiero mostrar termino haciéndolo todo de una vez porque se me meto mucho en el proceso y se me olvida todo lo que sucede a mi alrededor.

Since the purple background had a lot of light spaces, the white marker would hardly be noticeable. That's why I decided to use black. While I was drawing I concentrated so much that I finished the whole drawing without recording the process. Has this ever happened to you? Because it almost always happens to me every time I'm doing a project that I want to show I end up doing it all at once because I get so involved in the process that I forget everything that's going on around me.

Este es el resultado final de los dos mandalas con fondos de color. Me gustó bastante el contraste entre los dos marcadores, sin embrago quedo pendiente de hacer otro con un fondo mas oscuro donde resalte mas el blanco.

This is the final result of the two mandalas with colored backgrounds. I quite liked the contrast between the two markers, however I still have to make another one with a darker background where the white stands out more.
