La inocencia y la realidad conviven, pero son dos cosas totalmente diferentes que llevamos por dentro. Este dibujo plasma esas dos realidades, por un lado, a la izquierda, se representa a la inocencia, algo totalmente ajeno a nosotros pues nos permite fantasear, escaparnos, no sentir culpa de nada y evitar malos pensamientos. Mucho de ello se ve en el mundo de los sueños, donde todo es posible, la mente y el espacio, unidos en un solo ser para lograr que cualquier fantasía se pueda cumplir. De vez en cuando mezclamos cosas, pero es normal durante la sinapsis del sueño profundo y el choque del subconsciente. Una chica que bosteza, atrapada por unos segundos aun en el mar de los sueños pero que luego tendrá que ir preparándose para la rutina del día a día, hasta desembocar en la cruda realidad.

Innocence and reality coexist, but they are two totally different things that we carry inside. This drawing depicts these two realities, on one side, on the left, innocence is represented, something totally alien to us because it allows us to fantasize, escape, not feel guilty about anything and avoid bad thoughts. Much of this is seen in the world of dreams, where everything is possible, mind and space, united in a single being to achieve that any fantasy can be fulfilled. Occasionally we mix things up, but it's normal during the synapse of deep sleep and the shock of the subconscious. A girl who yawns, trapped for a few seconds even in the sea of dreams, but then she will have to prepare herself for the routine of everyday life, until she ends up in the harsh reality.

Por otro lado, a la derecha, tenemos a la ya mencionada realidad, nuestra fiel amiga que jamás escapa de nuestro lado, intimo como cualquier familiar, y tan malvado en ocasiones como los villanos de las exitosas películas de Marvel. Una vez preparada, el dibujo de la chica con mirada intrigosa nos refleja la salida al mundo exterior, donde todo escapa de nuestras manos y generalmente debemos seguir el vaivén de la sociedad. Es sumamente increíble lo que nos podemos encontrar en las calles a veces, inclusive de lo que las personas son capaces de hacer, pero aun así, seguimos hacia adelante, pues cada uno de nosotros poseemos metas a cumplir, y muchas veces aplicamos la lay de que “el bien justifica los medios”.

On the other hand, on the right, we have the aforementioned reality, our faithful friend who never escapes our side, intimate as any family member, and as evil at times as the villains of the successful Marvel movies. Once prepared, the drawing of the girl with the intriguing look reflects the exit to the outside world, where everything escapes from our hands and we generally have to follow the sway of society. It's amazing what we can find in the streets sometimes, even what people are capable of doing, but still, we move forward, because each of us have goals to achieve, and often we apply the lay that "the good justifies the means".

Para este dibujo utilice un lápiz n°6 HB para las sombras, el boceto y varias de las líneas fueron hechas con un lápiz n°2 HB, algunos detalles como el zarcillo, lápiz labial y cuello de la camisa fueron apoyados con un color negro, marca PRISMACOLOR (una de mis marcas favoritas). Todo el dibujo está basado en la técnica de encaje para su elaboración. Además para este dibujo, tuve dos fuentes de inspiración, la de la mujer bostezando fue tomada la inspiración de la publicación en Facebook cortesía de “Dibujos y Diseños Lucho Herrera”. For this drawing I used a n°6 HB pencil for the shadows, the sketch and several of the lines were made with a n°2 HB pencil, some details like the tendril, lipstick and collar of the shirt were supported with a black color, brand PRISMACOLOR (one of my favorite brands). The whole drawing is based on the lace technique for its elaboration.
