Hi, everyone!
I am moving on with my Harry Potter's pictures. And today it's a new portrait. I cought myself with idea that I miss drawing "hard", with very intensive colours and dark shadows. But in watercolours I am still trying to avoid mistakes and cannot try real picturesque blue/green shadows.
And what I like about this picture is that I found this wonderful green colour that I made with Phtalo Blue Green and Burnt Sienna. My smartphone is not showing absolutely true colours, but it's a heavy dark old leaves colour. I could not even guess that these two colours can creat it. So I am very happy.
And today I decided to order gouache for myself since I cannot use oil or acryl this year, but I miss paints that can cover each other, I miss correcting mistakes in an easy way, I miss making the picture lighter and putting glares at the end of work.
So I will try gouache in the nearest future, I also ordered brown ink for making line art, and ceramic pallete, so I am in that perfect style of mood which any artist can understand anticipating experiments and new materials.
Thank you and wish you success with your works!
