Hello, how are you? I've been so obsessed with drawing hearts lately, and I think I am going to continue this series of me drawing a heart face. I just felt like it, to be honest with you.
This series of oil pastel hearts was supposed to be shared on heart month, but that didn't happen because this person right here is not in this world at that time, and I am feeling good lately because the heat is making me productive.
Materials I Used:
- 200 GSM paper
- oil pastel
- tissue paper
- scratching tool
Draw Time!
Using a red oil pastel, I drew the line art of the heart face. I just go with the flow for this part, doing that makes me not pressure myself to draw.
Then I start experimenting with colors in this part, I like to mix everything complementary with each other. I outlined it with a different color, which I felt was different. I layer all the colors I added.
I like to blend all of that to make a smoother finish and let contrast yo know what I mean? LOL.
To add the texture, I am going to use this clay tool as a scratching tool.
This is what it looks like close up.
The glitter oil pastel didn't appear much in the drawing.
Thank you for visiting, see you on my next blog. :D
