Hello, how are you? So, my favorite still-life drawing creator (@stillherestilllife) posted that they are going to be back posting still-life challenges, and my love for oil pastels came back instantly. You can join too. You can use any medium or digital if you want. I love using oil pastels; that's the medium I use.

Let's Draw!

I drew the line art first. I did that to ensure I knew where the reference should be drawn. I did not sketch it in detail.

What I do is start with the lightest color first. I drew the line art of it based on the color first so it would be uniform when I layered it.

I do the same thing with other colors. Just drew the line art first.

For this part, I start adding more details on the drawing and filling those with colors.

Next, darker colors are added for this part.

I added more color in and out of the drawing to fill it up.

I started adding more dark colors and some light shadows.

---

For the final touch, I added a signature in the middle below.
