Hello everyone, and merry Christmas to you! I was feeling a bit ill yesterday. I had chills with no fever with got me googling covid symptoms and later deciding I wasn't going to allow my mind accept that because I learnt about a man called
Wim Hof who has done incredie feats by controlling him mind. A few of them are :
'Running a half marathon above the Arctic Circle, barefoot only wearing shorts
Swimming underneath ice for 66 meters
Hanging on one finger at an altitude of 2,000 meters
Climbing the highest mountains in the world while wearing only shorts
Running a full marathon in the Namib Desert without drinking
Standing in a container while covered in ice cubes for extended periods of time
Shown scientifically, that the autonomous nervous system related to the innate immune response, can be willfully influenced, something that was previously unknown to science'

I'm planning to watch more of his videos to learn more. Anyway I increased the radiators to the max and I also took some meds to bring down the low grade fever. I hope I don't get them again today.
Anyways, I decided to paint a rooster while waiting to get well yesterday and I decided to flip my canson heritage paper for a change after I'd heard a YouTube said she preferred the smoother side. I don't know why I didn't think of this since I was struggling with liking the texture so much of the side I paint on. I realized I prefer the smooth side and the colors are more vibrant on it
I started with a sketch
Then I began to paint in slowly
I painted with just a few colors ; burnt sienna, a bit of pale yellow and crimson red.
That's all from me today.
Cheers!
