Risk - Ink drawing, 21x16 cm, 2021
The prompt of the last day of Inktober was - risk. Flying rockets is a risky business - the real ones or the ones that land on crypto moons. So here comes the Hive Moon rocket! They say always invest what you are not afraid to lose. I think Hive is one of the less risky rockets out there! As it gives people the opportunity to join the ride even if they don’t have much to invest. Instead, invest your time and a bit of work, and you can earn it!
It is how I started as well. Most of what I hold, I earned through active participation in the Hive ecosystem. Yet my holdings are not even half of the value I have gained from joining the ride. I have met amazing people who are now my friends, I have learned about what is important to me, I have regained my passion for creating again, I have understood that I was not so broken but the system. Hive has opened my eyes in many ways, and for that, I am forever grateful!
I found inspiration from the old mission patches. You know, like the ones astronauts get from NASA for different missions. I thought it would be cool to make one for Hive to the Moon!
Tools and materials used for this piece: Hahnemühle Mixed Media paper 310 g/m² paper which is decent in quality at the price point; Pigma Brush pen and Pigma Micron fine liner 03 for the linework and the black space background, the Diamine drawing inks - Jet black for the shading of the Moon, and the rocket and Ruby red for the Hive logo; Sakura Gelly Roll liner 08 for the craters on the Moon, and the stars; Acrylic Titanium White paint also helped out with painting the craters since I used the same technique as before for this Moon.
I like how it turned out! There you have it, the Hive rocket on the way to the Moon! I hope you are enjoying your journey as much as I enjoy mine or more!
Also, Happy Halloween!
Here is some spooky light painting for you! ^^
Thank you so much for sticking with me through this month! Thank you for all the kind and encouraging words! Thank you for the support and love! I don’t regret doing it even while you had to suffer through my complaints about being exhausted to the level of an old rotting zombie crawling to the finish line! xD I see you on the chain soon after I have awakened from my slumber of processing <3
