Inspiration on wheels
Hello fellow hive members and friends of the community. Today I was able, after a long time, to start and finish an illustration in one day. I had the inspiration to do it, since the day before but the realization of the illustration was today.
Inspiration
I was lurking around Pinterest when out of nowhere this roller skate came out. I'm a big fan of rollers and this particular one I thought was beautiful and out of nowhere it became the inspiration for this girl. Suddenly it doesn't look much in style but it does in chromatic palette.
Process
Today the process was a bit messy, I started with the classics and essentials.
I decided what I would wear thanks to pinterest references, the hair, shoes and glasses were improvised.
I started with flat colors but instead of continuing to paint flat, I decided to start with details and shadows.
This time I decided to separate the lines in layers to define some things... Skin and pants, plus the glasses, I did them in black. Everything else in their respective colors.
Since I started yesterday with a crayon style, I decided to continue and develop it more, so you will continue to see it until I want to change the style again.
I usually paint in a messy way and then erase the color that comes out of the line, so I manage to unwind much better.
I used diffuser brushes to help with the shadows and for the hair I used another brush that dragged the color, so I could make the hair look a little more natural, with more volume, less flat.
And that's all, folks. I'll be on the lookout for more inspiration so I won't disappoint you tomorrow and there will be a very cool illustration to show you. I'll try to do new things, more complete poses and develop this crayon style... I hope you liked it. See you soon.
