A coffee painting of Apo Whang-Od is one of the first coffee paintings I made. The medium itself though old, is very beautiful and in addition, the scent is serene.
For that reason, I used Apo Whang-Od, a mambabatok as a subject. Accordingly, she is born in February, 1917 and is a member the Kalinga tribe. As history states it, she is the last and the oldest of her tribe at 105 years old as of 2022.
I lack further knowledge of her history so this is all I can say.
