Hello people, I hope you are very well, today I share with you one of my most recent drawings that I particularly liked a lot despite the simplicity of the composition.
I've had a busy week drawing like crazy, as I'm finishing the last weeks of my online drawing course and the amount of homework to be done has increased, so I have to be quick to look for reference images to get inspired and start sketching the drawing.
The goal of this assignment is to create a drawing with a flowing character composition, there are many types of flowing composition so it wasn't easy to choose just one, but once an idea came to my mind, I got to work on it.

Making the sketch took me less time than I expected, I placed with quick strokes the space in which I was going to arrange each element and proceeded to define the details.

From the beginning I knew I wanted the drawing to be as simple as possible, however, I think a mistake I didn't consider in time was the size of the main character, i.e. the cat, I think I made it a bit big, so once I outlined all the figures with pen, I felt it was missing something else (although I didn't know how else to occupy more space in the drawing without overloading it).

The solution I came up with for this one to fill in that extra space was to paint a kind of black cloud with India ink and on it paint bright dots in white and yellow to simulate fireflies, and I also painted wild leaves on the ground.
Final result:
Many asked me why I made a butterfly cat (actually it's a fairy cat T-T), and there's no answer for that, as in most of my drawings, I like to play with fantasy and absurdity, I love cats and fantastic beings, so this was the result.

Hola gente, espero que estén muy bien, el día de hoy les comparto uno de mis dibujos más recientes y que particularmente me gustó mucho a pesar de la sencillez de la composición.
He tenido una semana bastante ocupada dibujando como loca, pues estoy finalizando las últimas semanas en mi curso de dibujo online y la cantidad de tarea que mandan a hacer ha incrementado, así que tengo que ser rápida en cuanto a buscar imágenes de referencia para inspirarme y empezar a bocetar el dibujo.
El objetivo de esta tarea es crear un dibujo con una composición de carácter fluida, hay muchos tipos de composición fluidas así que no fue fácil escoger una sola, pero una vez me llegó una idea a la mente, me puse a trabajar en ella.

Realizar el boceto me tomó menos tiempo de lo que me esperaba, situé con trazos rápidos el espacio en el que iba a disponer cada elemento y procedí a definir los detalles.

Desde un principio sabía que quería que el dibujo fuera lo más sencillo posible, sin embargo, creo que un error que no consideré a tiempo fue el tamaño del personaje principal, es decir, el gato, creo que lo hice un poco grande, por lo que una vez delineé todas las figuras con bolígrafo, sentía que le faltaba algo más (aunque no sabía de qué otra manera ocupar más espacio en el dibujo sin sobrecargarlo).

La solución que resolví para este rellenar ese espacio que sobraba fue pintar una especie de nube negra con tinta china y sobre ella pintar puntos brillantes en color blanco y amarillo para simular luciérnagas, y también pinté hojas silvestres en el suelo.
Resultado final:
Muchos me preguntaron porqué hice una gato mariposa (en realidad es un gato hada T-T), y no hay respuesta para eso, como en la mayoría de mis dibujos, me gusta jugar con la fantasía y lo absurdo, adoro los gatos y los seres fantásticos, así que este fue el resultado.
