Greetings dear #Sketchbook community. This post is something that I am very excited to share, because it is something very different from what I usually do, I mean that almost always my illustrations are something dark, but for this occasion I came up with something "weird" (so to speak), actually I have no other word to describe it, this was quite rare for me.
This is inspired by art furry, and you don't know what it took me to make it, it was a TOTAL headache. I had seen this girl on Unsplash.com which I used as inspiration for this illustration, I saw her bikini and I imagined drawing her as a leopard (my favorite feline).

Este post es algo que me hace mucha ilusión compartir, porque es algo muy diferente a lo que suelo hacer, me refiero a que casi siempre mis ilustraciones son algo dark, pero para esta ocasión se me ocurrió algo "raro" (por así decirlo), en realidad no tengo otra palabra para describirlo, esto fue bastante raro para mí.
Esto está inspirado en el arte furry, y no saben lo que me costó hacerlo, fue un dolor de cabeza TOTAL. Había visto a esta chica en Unsplash.com que usé como inspiración para esta ilustración, vi su bikini y me imaginé dibujándola como un leopardo (mi felino favorito).
Process | Proceso
I started with what would be the sketch, and choosing the color palette. After I had my base, I started coloring!.
I started with her legs, the model in the picture has a good body and I wanted to make her look stronger, so I defined the lower muscles very well.
Empecé con lo que sería el boceto, y eligiendo la paleta de colores. Después de tener la base, ¡empecé a colorear!.
Inicie con sus piernas, la modelo de la foto tiene un buen cuerpo y quería hacerla parecer más fuerte, así que definí muy bien los músculos inferiores.
Then I colored her bikini, I used a blue color, I felt the color suited her very well. And I continued coloring the rest of her body. For the shadows I used the colors purple and gray in one layer with the multiply option and for the highlights, I used a pastel yellow color and the layer in soft light.
Luego coloreé su bikini, usé un color azul, sentí que el color le quedaba muy bien. Y continué coloreando el resto de su cuerpo. Para las sombras utilicé los colores púrpura y gris en una sola capa con la opción multiplicar y para las luces, utilicé un color amarillo pastel y la capa en luz suave.
Her curls I think it was the most complicated thing to do, I couldn't find the way to do them, I tried with all the brushes, until I finally managed to use the right one, this one is called synthetic acrylic. I used the black color for him, and then I was giving him some reflections with gray and dark brown, for a little brightness, I put white with an opacity of 20.
In her shoes I wanted to put something that was not the Nike brand that the girl of the reference has, so I made a graffiti with my name "OscariArt", you could say that I already have my own brand haha.
Sus rizos creo que fue lo más complicado de hacer, no encontraba la forma de hacerlos, probé con todos los pinceles, hasta que por fin conseguí usar el adecuado, este se llama acrílico sintético. Usé el color negro para él, y luego le fui dando algunos reflejos con gris y marrón oscuro, para darle un poco de brillo, le puse blanco con una opacidad de 20.
En sus zapatos quise poner algo que no fuera la marca Nike que tiene la chica de la referencia, así que le hice un grafiti con mi nombre "OscariArt", se podría decir que ya tengo mi propia marca jaja.
If you notice, I left for almost the end what would be her hands, they were very complicated and despite my attempts they were not perfect. Several times I thought of doing the fur texture, but honestly I didn't like the way it looked, that's why I left it this way.
For the background I followed with the reference, I made what would be the tennis court, I used airbrush for the sky effect, and charcoal for the texture of the floor and the grass. I gave some shadows and a flash of light simulating the sun.
Si se fijan, dejé para casi el final lo que serían sus manos, eran muy complicadas y a pesar de mis intentos no quedaban perfectas. Varias veces pensé en hacer la textura del pelaje, pero sinceramente no me gustaba como quedaba, por eso lo dejé así.
Para el fondo seguí con la referencia, hice lo que sería la cancha de tenis, usé aerógrafo para el efecto del cielo, y carbón para la textura del piso y el pasto. Le di algunas sombras y un destello de luz simulando el sol.
This is the final result of the illustration, it took me 6 days to make it completely.
