Hello hivers, I hope you are very well, today I bring you an illustration of a portrait in neotraditional style, or at least I would say that I try this, I still have a lot to learn about this style, but I think I'm getting closer to this. Next I share with you the process.

Hola hivers, espero que estén muy bien, hoy les traigo una ilustración de un retrato en estilo neotradicional, o al menos diría que lo intento, aún me falta mucho por aprender de este estilo, pero creo que me estoy acercando a esto. A continuación les comparto el proceso.

The illustration has the name of "Small emperor moth" because of the two big insects on his face, I wanted to incorporate for this illustration some animal and the truth is that when I saw this moth I was inspired, so I made the sketch, following the line art and the base colors of it.
La ilustración tiene el nombre de "Pequeña polilla emperador" por los dos grandes insectos que tiene en la cara, quería incorporar para esta ilustración algún animal y la verdad es que cuando vi esta polilla me inspiré, así que realicé el sketch, siguiendo con el line art y los colores base de la misma.

This time for the painting and shading of the face I wanted to do it in a different way to see how was the quality of the skin, as you can see I marked the areas of shadows and lighting and then I was mixing this, the common way I do my processes is as if I was tattooing or drawing in a traditional way really, having done it this way took me more time than I expected and I had to retouch several times the shadows, I consider that I still do not understand how this method of painting works, but it's all a matter of practice.
Esta vez para el pintado y sombreado del rostro quise hacerlo de una manera diferente para ver como quedaba la calidad de la piel, como pueden ver marqué las zonas de sombras e iluminación y luego fui mezclando esto, la manera común en que hago mis procesos es como si estuviera tatuando o dibujando de manera tradicional realmente, el haberlo hecho de esta manera me llevó más tiempo del que esperaba y tuve que retocar varias veces las sombras, considero que aún no entiendo como funciona este método de pintar, pero todo es cuestión de práctica.

After having the finish I wanted on the skin, I went on to make the leaves and the moths, I changed their traditional colors a little bit.
The hair in neotraditional is always linear like old school tattoos, I haven't gotten the hang of it yet, but I think it came out better than I thought it would, then I did some shadows with olive green and blue gray.
Después de tener el acabado que quería en la piel, pasé a hacer las hojas y las polillas, a estas le cambié un poco sus colores tradicionales.
El cabello en neotradicional siempre es algo lineal como en los tatuajes de la vieja escuela, aún no le he agarrado la vuelta, pero creo que me salió mejor de lo que pensé, luego hice algunas sombras con verde oliva y gris azulado.

Finally, I retouched the face again and added a white outline so that the figure could be noticed, since the background was black with some touches of red. This is the final result, I hope you like it.
Por último, volví a retocar la cara y añadí un contorno blanco para que se notara la figura, ya que el fondo era negro con algunos toques de rojo. Este es el resultado final, espero que les guste.
