I started making a very basic sketch in my sketchbook. I did it little by little, since I didn't know how to integrate the mouth into the character very well, but in the end I was able to do it and I think it turned out well.
Comence haciendo el boceto muy básico en mi cuaderno de dibujos. Lo fui haciendo poco a poco, ya que no sabía cómo integrar muy bien la boca en el personaje, pero al final pude hacerlo y creo que quedó bien.

After I had finished the sketch and got it the way I wanted it, I went to work the color on it. Using the colors from the original illustration, I integrated them into my style in my version.
Luego que había terminado de hacer el boceto y dejarlo como yo quería, me fui a trabajar el color en el mismo. Usando los colores de la ilustración original, los fuí integrando a mi estilo en mi versión.

Once I had all the color work done, the last thing I did was to work the details in the drawing, such as shadows, a couple of lights and so on, to finish with my version of this character.
