Well this is portrait drawing that I did . I was just asked by a Friend to do it and I felt like I had some pratice too .As a Artist, I love diving into a charcoal portrait by first sketching out the basics with a light pencil or charcoal stick, nailing down the eyes, nose, and jawline. I then rough out the size, blocking in the head and shoulders, before jumping into the fun part—slapping on those deep shadows with a soft charcoal piece while leaving bright highlights. Next, I blend in the midtones with my fingers or a stump, giving it that 3D feel, and finally, I zoom in with a sharp pencil to add the tiny details like hair strands and expressions. It’s a messy, joyful dance of light and dark!
