Buen día. Viendo las fotos familiares, decidí dibujar y homenajear con un dibujo a una persona muy especial, a mi tía Miriam.
Good day. Looking at family photos, I decided to draw and honor a very special person, my aunt Miriam.
Ver su foto, me hizo recordar muchos gratos momentos de mi infancia, su amabilidad y rectitud para educar. Aunque era seria, conmigo era alegre, me animaba a dibujar y siempre me daba el buen consejo aunque tenía que hacerle muchos mandados pero me sentía muy bien ayudándola. Es hermoso ayudar a los ancianos que te ayudaron a crecer y ser una buena persona.
También recordé su vejez y su ceguera que en momentos se ponía un poco triste por perder la visión pero la animábamos y nos regalaba una sonrisa. Me entristecí cuando recordé que casi no podía besarla como antes pues por el Covid 19. Yo era el que salía de casa a buscar los alimentos y otros artículos necesarios y por temor a contaminarla, mi trato era más distante y menos físico pero mi cariño y mi voz, nunca la abandonaron. Un abrazo y un beso valen más. Cuando el Covid 19 ya se alejaba y comenzábamos a retomar la vida normal, en una bella tarde dominical, de forma inexplicable, el Señor se la llevó al cielo quizás previendo que no sería juzto que pasara las grandes necesidades que actualmente vivimos en nuestro destruído país.
A pesar de que le había realizado algunos dibujos cuando era estudiante, decidí hacerle un nuevo dibujo. Nunca la olvidaré. Que Dios la tenga en la gloria 🙏
Seeing her photo made me remember many pleasant moments from my childhood, her kindness and her uprightness in educating. Although she was serious, with me she was cheerful and encouraged me to draw, always giving me good advice even though I had to run many errands for her, but I felt very good helping her. It is beautiful to help the elderly who helped you grow and become a good person.
I also remembered her old age and her blindness, which at times made her a little sad for losing her vision, but we encouraged her and she gave us a smile. I felt sorrow when I remembered that I could hardly kiss her as before because of Covid-19. I was the one who went out of the house to get food and other necessary items, and out of fear of infecting her, my treatment was more distant and less physical, but my affection and my voice never abandoned her. A hug and a kiss are worth more. When Covid-19 was already fading and we began to return to normal life, on a beautiful Sunday afternoon, in an inexplicable way, the Lord took her to heaven, perhaps foreseeing that it would not be fair for her to endure the great needs we currently suffer in our destroyed country.
Although I had made some drawings of her when I was a student, I decided to make her a new portrait. I will never forget her. May God keep her in His glory 🙏
Para realizar el dibujo utilicé:
-lápiz HB.
-2B con extensor inventado.
- lapicero transformado a portaminas de mina 5B.
- hoja de papel para apoyar la mano y evitar que se ensucie tanto el dibujo como la mano.
- pincel.
- goma moldeable.
- lácar de pelo para fijar el grafito( usen fijadores profesionales para dibujo si es posible) Eviten rociar demasiado el dibujo porque la hoja puede deformarse.
To make the drawing I used:
- HB pencil.
- 2B pencil with an improvised extender.
- Pen transformed into a mechanical pencil with 5B lead.
- Sheet of paper to rest my hand and prevent both the drawing and my hand from getting dirty.
- Brush.
- Kneaded eraser.
- Hair lacquer to fix the graphite (use professional drawing fixatives if possible)Avoid spraying too much on the drawing because the paper may warp.
🎨✏️Paso a paso/Step by step
Primero hago la cuadrícula y siempre comienzo clarito y voy corrigiendo los defectos antes de comenzar con el claroscuro.
First I make the grid, and I always start lightly, correcting the flaws before beginning with the chiaroscuro.
Luego comencé a darle claroscuro al rostro pero sin dibujar zonas con valores tonales muy bajos(oscuros) y después le pasé el pincel seco para difuminar un poco y darle un efecto un poco real a la piel.
Then I began to add chiaroscuro to the face, but without drawing areas with very low (dark) tonal values, and afterwards I used the dry brush to blend a little and give the skin a slightly realistic effect.
Más tarde comencé a darle valores tonales medios a la ropa, brazos y rostro además de retocar y rectificar un poco los labios y dibujar el pelo con un valor tonal más bajo.
Later I began to add mid tonal values to the clothing, arms, and face, as well as retouch and adjust the lips a little, and I drew the hair with a lower tonal value.
Retoqué el rostro con valores más bajos y definí los rasgos. Oscurecí la ropa y le hice sutiles pliegues y el pelo lo dibujé más oscuro y con más detalles. Después dibujé el fondo con un valor tonal alto( clarito) y arriba de ese tono le pasé el pincel seco para crearle un efecto de atmósfera en el fondo para no quedara tan plano.
I retouched the face with lower tonal values and defined the features. I darkened the clothing and added subtle folds, and I drew the hair darker with more details. Afterwards, I drew the background with a high tonal value (light), and over that tone I used the dry brush to create an atmospheric effect so the background would not look too flat.
