It's been a while since I've been here, this time I brought you a drawing I made some time ago of the series Steven Universe. A Cartoon Network series that I liked a lot at the time.
A boy who has a not normal life and has to learn what he has to do and what he wants to be in life. At first his chapters were meaningless adventures but as time went by the plot of the series became deep. Steven has a burden left to him by his mother that he has no idea how to cope with. The good thing is that he is not alone, he has his friends to help him.
Here is the drawing process.
Ha pasado un tiempo desde que pasé por acá, en esta ocasión les traje un dibujo que hice hace un tiempo de la serie Steven Universe. Una serie de Cartoon Network que me gustó mucho en su momento.
Un niño que tiene una vida nada normal y tiene que aprender que debe hacer y que quiere ser en la vida. Al principio sus capítulos eran de aventuras sin sentido pero con el paso del tiempo la trama de la serie se tornó profunda. Steven tiene una carga que le dejo su madre de la cual el no tiene ni idea de cómo sobrellevar. Lo bueno es que no está solo, tiene a sus amigas para ayudarlo.
Aquí el proceso de dibujo.
Comencé mi proceso de dibujo haciendo el boceto, trato de hacerlo lo más completo posible para no tener problemas al remarcar después.
Después me enfocó en un personaje a la vez, remarcando el contorno, sombreando y aplicando los detalles.
I started my drawing process by making the sketch, trying to make it as complete as possible so I wouldn't have any problems with the highlighting later.
Then I focused on one character at a time, highlighting the outline, shading and applying the details.
En el dibujo se puede apreciar los personajes principales de la serie, el protagonista Steven, un niño mitad gema; mitad humano. A su alrededor están las cristal Gems, de derecha a izquierda: Garnet, Perla y Amatista. En la parte superior derecha está la madre de Steven. Rose Cuarzo. En la parte superior izquierda está Jasper, quien es el primer enemigo que ví en la serie. Bastante luchadora.
Es segunda vez que hago un dibujo de varios personajes, esta vez quedó mucho mejor, los personajes se relacionan entre sí y eso me gusta.
In the drawing you can see the main characters of the series, the main character Steven, a boy half gem; half human. Around him are the crystal Gems, from right to left: Garnet, Pearl and Amethyst. On the upper right is Steven's mother. Rose Quartz. On the top left is Jasper, who is the first enemy I saw in the series. Quite the fighter.
This is the second time I've done a drawing of several characters, this time it turned out much better, the characters relate to each other and I like that.
Me gustaría en un futuro cercano utilizar tinta negra para remarcar los contornos, no sé que tan bien quedaría pero quisiera intentarlo. Seguir mejoran mi técnica.
