Soon I will return to the group of watercolorists to which I belonged.
As many of you know, I left the group because of the pandemic, but now that they have a space in which they can apply biosafety protocols, and also a month ago other colleagues started classes, I finally decided to return.
My goals and expectations for this year with the group are very much
As you know, I really like to make children's illustrations when I draw, but the truth is that I don't feel comfortable making children's drawings while I see that my classmates make beautiful landscapes and realistic portraits, so my first goal will be to find an intermediate level between reality and illustration.
For this, I will have to practice a lot and try to draw real photographs in a way that shows my style of illustration.
Another goal is to draw a lot, of course, practice will make each day better.
With practice I will be able to make different effects, such as making modifications in the photographs that make the change I made not look so forced
I must achieve better textures, lights and shadows. I have always been very simple in the details, and I even make flat drawings, but a goal this year will be to draw more clothes with wrinkles, that look natural, as well as different textures and changes in light and shadow.
And finally fulfill my main objective, to draw better than the year that has already passed.
