This is a quick painting that took me about 2 hours to complete. It is a simple concept, but fun. I had no plan, and was on spur of the moment. I found an old sheet of 300 lb watercolor paper I had started a painting a long time ago, and took a pallette knife and smeared extra heavy gesso over the old painting and created texture to hide the ridges of the old painting. I let the gesso dry for about a week before I painted.
