Hi everyone! This week, I drew Lorna Shine in my art style. The art on her card has quite the anime-ish style that really inspires me to draw her. ⚜️

Now, here are the steps that I take to make this piece:

Step 1 ✔️

First, did a quick sketch of the pose for Lorna Shine. I want to draw her in action so I decided to draw her attacking with her giant sword.

Step 2 ✔️

Next is I did a quick sketch of her. I didn't focus on the line quality, just the gesture and the flow of the lines.

Then I drew the line art. I tried drawing the lines with just a stroke. I also made sure to make the line as thin as I can.

Then I added some thick lines on my line art. I added it on the curved part to make sure the viewer can feel the weight on my line art.

I then added the flat colors.

I then added the shadows. I also added a black background.

I then added the light.

Finally, I added a color dodge to finish up my piece. I added a sword swing to reinforce the action that she is making.
