Hello hivers, an happy Thursday to you all!
After a couple of rainy days, now the Sun is shining between some clouds and so my furry friends Nanny and Bimba decided to enjoy a little time in my backyard playing and sleeping in a corner.
This morning I started my day workking on a portrait of a girl. At the start I wanted just to exercise myself on a realistic portrait, but while I'm working on it I thought it could be an useful way to understand how a more realistic portrait could work with my usual houses in illustrative style amd so this was the final result:
As you know, my own style is not a realistic style and I like to experiment myself in different ways to work on my subjects. It's a way to exercise my hands and my imagination too, so it's good. 😊
This piece is an oil colors painting on 200 gsm paper in A4 size and, like I use to do when I share a new piece of mine with you, I took some pics while I was painting it on my small working table so you can see the process too:
It was a simple exercise for me, but I think I'll work on other similar ones soon, so stay tuned to see the next new ones. ❤️
I hope you like it!
See ya soon and stay safe,
Silvia
