An happy Monday to you all!
Another sunny day here and the new week started in a quiet, nice way. The petals of the first flowers on the branches of my plum tree are slowly falling down (there is a little wind now) and there is a sort of white carpet in my backyard. A white carpet that smells of Spring! _
Today I woke up soon in the morning and, after the first cup of coffee of my day, I started to work on a new oil painting on canvas (I'll show you the work in progress of it in the next days). In a pause of that work, I painted something simple and fast on a scrap of paper in form of bookmark and you can see the final result in the following pic:
As you can see, the subject is really simple: a plant in a cup. I added some red hearts on the cup and on the plant too, so I can say I painted a plant full of love. _
It's a tiny oil painting on 200 gsm paper and, as usual, I took some pics while I was painted it so you can see the process too:
It was really simple and very fast to paint, but I like the final result and, when it will be dry enough, I'll use it as a bookmark (or I'll give it to my friend Elena, who loves read books like me _).
