An happy Sunday to you all! I hope you are having a nice day. Yesterday I had a busy Saturday, cause there was a booksigning in the bookshop where I work. The italian comic writer Moreno Burattini told us about his job (he wrote the text for the comic Zagor for many years) and about his funny books. It was an interesting event and, at the end, we went to dinner with the writer in a good restaurant close to the bookshop. A long, but nice day. _
Today here it's another rainy day, the sky is full of dark clouds and I'm spending my Sunday at home with my hubby and my furry friend Richy. Just a little walk along the side of the river after the lunch and after I finished a new piece I started this morning. The new piece is a small artwork of the series I titled "Thinking about home" and you can see the final result in the following pic:
The subject is one of my women in profile with a red dress and my usual tiny scenes (a tiny home and tiny figures on the road) on her head.
It's an oil painting on 200 gsm paper in A5 size and, as usual, I took some pics while I was painted her on my small working table so you can see the process:
Soon I'll add this new artwork to my Artfinder shop (link at the bottom), hoping it will find a new home soon! _
I hope you like it!
See ya soon and stay safe,
Silvia
