Hello hivers, an happy Thursday and happy first day of June to you all!
Another sunny, warm day here and everything looks so brilliant around. The honeymoon of my daughter is going very well, she sent me some pics of their trip and my heart is full of joy and love. I think there is nothing better for a mom to know her daughter/son is happy close to a person who loves her/him . ❤️
It's a nice time for my mood and, sure, for my art too, because for me my art is the language I use to share my thoughts.
In te first days of August I'll do a solo exhibition inside a beautiful large room of the Municipality's building in my city (as you can understand, it's an exciting time for me _ ) and so I'm working on some pieces I'll install there.
I decided to create some of my articulated "paper dolls" (oil painting on cardboard) in a larger size than usual and you can see the first one I finished yesterday in the afternoon in the following pics:
As you can see, I had to hand this paper doll to one of my window, because it's too large to take pic of it on other part of my home (at the moment there are no free walls in my home _ ).
It's an oil painting on 400 gsm cardboard and, like I use to do, I took a couple of pics wit my smartphone while I was painted her so you can see the process too:
