Hello hivers, an happy Monday to you all! I hope you spent a nice weekend!
Here it was a cloudy cold day and I spent the most part of the morning cleaning our lab room. I use to clean it very hard around one time at week, because it's the room where me and my hubby work on our artworks and where my hubby teach to the art classes.
When the lab room was ready, I decided to work on a new linocut block to create a new image about a bird to print (by my hands) on paper.
I have to work better on some details, but at now the result is this:
As you can see, this first print was no so good, but it was very useful to understand where I have to work better.
It was too late to continue to work on it, but tomorrow I'll work again on the details to have a better result. For this first print I used a black ink, but I want to use this block to print in different colors and so I'll try it again and again until I'll have the reault I want. 😁
