The chimpanzee

Good day all
So yesterday I visited the wildlife park and there was this chimpanzee that caught my attention with it funny dance so I said to my self I should draw a chimpanzee one of this days. I did this using charcoal blocks and graphite pencils.
Let me take you through the processes

At this level I applied the charcoal and graphite, I used the white color for the light part but did not blend it cause I wanted to see how the rough outline would be

I blended it and began to apply white charcoal to form the light part and also give it structure

Here I used just the charcoal block to darkened the paper to my taste nothing more
