When I uploaded my previous painting based on another Hiver's photography, I was so glad that many people enjoyed it. It's seeing the same thing in a different way and perspective.
Another amazing photographer, , kindly told me that I could use any of his photos on this platform for my future works. It made me so excited and delighted because it means that he appreciates what I do.
I remember there was this photo from his post about his walks that I like. Of course, I like all the photos he shared, but this one caught my attention. It somehow gave me a sense of serenity as I was looking at it that I wanted to make it into a painting.
I used poster paint on a 10 x 10 cm watercolor paper to make this artwork. Let me share the painting process below. :)
After preparing the watercolor paper, I brushed some water before adding some drops of paint on it. :D
I made the background. I just added more paint to make the adjustments until I achieve what I want.
Once the background was dry, I added the details. It's mostly just the sun on one corner and the silhouette of trees and other stuff.
And in the foreground, I painted this unique-looking plant and the silhouette of birds flying in the serene sky.
After making a few more adjustments, the painting is done. I took out the masking tape around it and wrote the usual stuff, username, signature and the date today.
I also took a selfie with the painting and a photo of the original picture taken by , together with my artwork. :)
It was such a serene view to see. It was also fun to make. So, what do you think?
I'll end this post here for now. Thanks for checking, and see you around! (^^,)/
