Smudge art is really time consuming, I spent 6hours on this picture
I got this picture from the facebook page of an upcoming comedian named Mr Macaroni. https://m.facebook.com/MrMacaroni1/photos/a.1877491569158888/2242754372632604/?type=3&source=54
I never knew it would be this fast, the learning process. It was quite enthralling to do albeit, time consuming. For my three previous tries, I spent less than 40 mins on the skin but for this, I spent about 1hours+. Actually it was due to the mistakes I was making and then at one point, sketchbook reset my progress.. It was quite frustrating
PROCESSING
I first started with the smudge. I think I missed the complexion a little but overall, I'm satisfied with the colour blending. The highlights came off a little bit too sharp still, it makes for a nice cartoon. It was as a result of me trying to copy some online videos.
It took me over 3 hours to complete the smudge artwork. My layers were not that much. I employed precision and that cut down alot of junks that occupy a lot of layers.
