The cabin as a way of life, as a philosophy, as a natural refuge, as isolation. Thoreau, the father of civil disobedience and the godfather of that philosophy about reconnecting with nature, the earth, the sap, the Great Mother, already said it: "I went to the woods because I wanted to live deliberately; face only the essential facts of the life and see if I could learn what she had to teach. I wanted to live deeply and discard everything that was not life... so as not to realize, at the moment of dying, that I had not lived". And so, the Taschen publishing house pays homage to those cabins (like theirs in the Walden swamp that inspired the work of the same name) in which to feel free from the sin of asphalt and the heavy yoke of time and haste. The design cabins in which to return to the origin.
