Today drawing Frida Kalho in caricature. Using charcoal pencils. Starting the silhouette and features with the 5H pencil, giving very fine and clear lines to be able to correct them without seeing blurs.

Hoy dibujando a Frida Kalho en caricatura. Utilizando lápices al carboncillo. Dando inicio a la silueta y rasgos con el lápiz 5H, dando lineas muy finas y claras para poder corregir sin que se vealos borrones.
With the 6B pencil I highlighted and gave a dark black tone to the hair and eyebrows of the Frida caricature.
The cat I gave a dark tone with the 8B pencil, leaving white space in each eye to simulate the brightness that it reflects. The flowers, the dress was gently outlining them with the 6B pencil to pass the blender and give more prominence to the drawing. Also move the smudger across the face and bottom of the dress.
Con el lápiz 6B remarque y le dí tono negro oscuro al cabello y cejas de la caricatura de Frida. El gato le di tono oscuro con el lápiz 8B, dejando espacio en blanco en cada ojo para simular el brillo que refleja. Las flores, el vestido las iba delineando suavemente con el lápiz 6B para pasar el difumino y darle mas realce al dibujo. También desplace el difumino por el rostro y el fondo del vestido.

Frida Kalho was a Mexican painter who suffered greatly due to a terrible accident that kept her in bed for a long time. Most of his paintings were based on self-portraits where he reflected the pain and suffering he was suffering for those moments of disability due to his broken health.
