So there was a poster-making contest in our organization at the university, ( I am a Biology student) and I decided to join our poster-making contest!
The theme of the contest emphasized how the interactions within our small organization have similarities with the symbiosis of species. With this theme in mind, I thought about the different types of symbiotic relationships and decided that I want to focus on mutualism. What is the most common and cute example of mutualism? Well! clown fishes (Nemo heh!) and sea anemone 😆 With the relationship of these organisms as inspiration. I started my drawing!
Her dress is based from the color scheme of clown fishes.
The setting of the art is underwater. Under the sea 🎼.
Added some details, such as the sea floor and some seaweeds. Those are factories on the surface.
Added more details like the lighting and smoke coming out from the factories on the surface.
To give her an enhanced "underwater" vibes, I added a dark blue overlay. It completely changes the ambiance.
And, of course! I should not miss our cute sea anemone. This will be Little miss clown fish's gadget.
For the final details, I just played around with the 'shine' layer effect and added some ✨ sparkles✨
This artwork symbolizes the situation of the students with their friends and classmates in the online set-up through the concept of symbiosis. Our own houses may feel like we're deep underwater, with all the chaos, issues, and problems outside our homes (like the pollution depicted in the art) but our sea anemone allows us to have that 'home' that helps us cope with the negativity and darkness surrounding us. Our sea anemone is our organization. ❤️
