This morning, my wife asked me to turn on the water pump in the front yard. Before I touched the pump engine button, I saw a tiny grasshopper perched on a starfruit leaf. Do you know what I did? I didn't turn on the water pump but went back into the house to find my mobile phone. Seeing me entered the house without starting the pump engine, my wife grumbled frantically, but I ignored her. After I took a photo of the tiny grasshopper, then I turned on the water pump. Seeing my behavior, my wife just shook her head. But thankfully, she had stopped nagging.
By the way, this is an immature green grasshopper. The entomologists named it Caelifera. Grasshoppers are a sub-order of orthopteran insects, and they are herbivorous. When they become adult grasshoppers, they will usually do the shedding of their old skin.
