Coffee Makes My day
Coffee makes me happy. Like, if I don't get to drink at least a cup, my day seems incomplete.
No, I'm not the one who passes by Starbucks each morning to buy a cup of over-priced (for an average income earner like me) coffee and end up holding the it the whole day. You will see me though, holding my flask of hot black coffee every morning.
When we came back from the Philippines last June, I brought with me two kilos of Batangas coffee beans. That lasted for almost 7 months! Imagine, I only spent Php500 ($10) for my delicious coffee over the span of 7 months.
My Kapeng Barako is Finished. Now What?
I still need a dose of caffeine fix, of course. I drink instant coffee, but that's for my second cup every afternoon. It has to be black coffee in the morning!
Hmmm, I wonder how will I get hold of our very own Kapeng barako these difficult times?
My Starbucks Solution
Let me for now, buy coffee beans from Starbucks! $10 for 250grams of coffee beans and I shall have Starbucks coffee to last me at least 4 weeks, five at the most.
The coffee beans from my hometown is still much cheaper, of course (and tastier in my opinion!). But somehow buying coffee beans once is cheaper than what you would spend if you'll buy a cup in-store everyday, right?!
Here, check out how I prep my coffee. We have coffee maker, but for some reason I prefer making it this way.
Quarantine Life
Coffee is life, but staying at home is "lifer"! A coffee date with a friend or loved one is a great idea, but let's skip the coffee shop for now. ☕
Hope all is well with everyone. Let's pray this pandemic gets over soon. Then let's try to reconsider that coffee date. 😅😁
