Peak of safety, the School management did not maintain their school bus.
As the bus was running it lost one of the tires which eventually hit my car. The impact was huge as the tire had enough speed on it as it approached me. Shook the whole car up and damaged a number of parts on the right side of the car.

The Event
So as I left office on a Tuesday evening, the oncoming school bus lost one of its tires which hit the right side of my car and caused a huge damage. Breaking off the headlamp, front grill and bumper.
Estimate cost to repair the whole deal is in upwards of Rs54000 or USD700.
But more than money it cost me time, effort and caused humiliation. Not to mention a huge inconvenience as my car ended up in the service center for several weeks.
But more than that I worry about the safety of the kids in that school bus. The bus was going slow and there were at least 20 students onboard. I can only imagine the horror had the school bus lost its tires on a highway where it might have been going on top speed.
At first glance not much damage but I had my mechanic have a detailed look right there at the accident spot and I got an estimate of $700 minimum to repair everything. Internally several parts were damaged such as the headlamps, hydraulic motors right behind the bumper and the front grill.
The official estimate from the Car service center.
Since the school management were not willing to take the blame, I ended up calling the police and made this police report. This is currently the only evidence I have of the whole incident. (Sorry it is not in english.
Sorry if the whole things feels like a rant. I had to vent out my frustration about the whole ordeal.
